The Wawanesa United Church is conducting a special service as a celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the union of the Methodist and Presbyterian churches in Wawanesa. The service wil be held on July 8 in connection with the Pound, Pail and Paddle weekend. Church service will be at 11:15 a.m. with a lunch to follow. If you or your family have had connections to the Wawanesa United Church over the years, it is hope that you will attend. There will be a guest speaker for the service. An updated written history is being prepared. A time capsule will be opened and a historical quilt top will be on display.
