Some snow sprinkled on Brandon Friday morning.

There's some snow in the area, but it should all be melted by tomorrow.

And as the winds die down and we tickle double digit temperatures, this could be the last comfortable weekend to finish the yard chores.

But do take time to enjoy the long weekend and time with family and friends on this Thanksgiving long-weekend.

Here's the short-term forecast provided by Environment Canada for Brandon and area:

• Today: Cloudy. 60-per-cent chance of flurries. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h. High plus 2 C.

• Tonight: Clearing this evening. Wind north 20 km/h becoming light late this evening. Low minus 8 C.

• Saturday: Sunny. Wind becoming west 20 km/h in the morning. High 9 C.

• Sunday: A mix of sun and cloud. Low minus 7. High 10.

• Monday: Cloudy. Low plus 4. High 9.
