Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Another bright, sunshine-y day

It's going to be another hot, sunny day today, although gardeners worried about their water bills can rest easy — overnight rains are predicted tonight.

Environment Canada says that Brandon should hit a high of 30 C this afternoon, under mostly sunny skies, although there will be a bit f a westerly wind, at 20 km/h this morning.

A few clouds should roll in late this afternoon, with clouds overnight, and a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight and early tomorrow morning. The overnight low will be about 15 C.

Skies will clear again tomorrow, which will lead in to a glorious weekend. Friday is looking for a high of 29 C, with Saturday and Sunday both expected to reach 28 C, along with lows in the low teens.

For early next week, temperatures will start to scorch. Monday is predicted to be 29 C, Tuesday and Wednesday both 32 C. And after tonight, nary a cloud in sigh.

The normal high for this time of year is 25 C, and the normal low is 13 C.
