Arthur-Virden, Morris residents can still get on voters list until Jan. 16

Any individuals eligible to vote in the Arthur-Virden and Morris ridings who missed enumeration can still get their names on the voters list, Elections Manitoba said today.

Door-to-door enumeration for the Arthur-Virden and Morris ridings ends Sunday.

The revision period will begin Jan. 13 and end Jan. 16. During this time, corrections will be made to either add, remove or correct names on the voters list.

Eligible voters can go to the returning offices to submit changes or additions at the Arthur-Virden Returning Office, 590 Wellington Street E  in Virden or at the Morris Returning Office, Unit 1, 49 Rue Principale in La Salle. Government issued photo identification or two other pieces of identification are required to make the changes.

A visit from an election official can be arranged if a voter can’t get to the office in person by calling the Artthur-Virden office at 204-748-4780 or 1-855-542-5116 or emailing ROArthur-Virden@elections.mb.ca. Morris voters can call 204-736-5110 or 1-855-277-2477 or email ROMorris@elections.mb.ca.
