Two bicycle thieves were nabbed red-handed just past midnight on Wednesday night.
Police were called at about 12:30 a.m. on Thursday morning about people who were trying to steal bikes in the 200-block of 15th Street.
Officers quickly found a man and a boy in the area, with two stolen bikes and a tool that they'd used to steal them.
The kid, a Brandon boy, was also found to be on several probation orders, including a daily curfew. He was charged with theft under $5,000, possession of break-in tools and six counts of breach of probation. He was jailed overnight to appear in court in the morning.
The adult, a man from Sioux Valley, was also found to be on probation and was charged with two counts of breach that as well as with theft under $5,000. He is to appear in court on Oct. 2.
