What a difference a day makes.

After a drab, gloomy afternoon yesterday, when the temperature only barely made it to 7 C, skies have cleared this morning, and Tuesday is shaping up to be the start of a pretty nice spellof mid-week weather.

Environment Canada says that Tuesday had already soared past Monday's high by 8 a.m., on its way to a high this afternoon os 15 C, under blue, sunny skies.

Winds, too, will be light this afternoon. In fact, if there's anything to worry about, it's that you'll have to watch out for the UV rays, which will his 6, or high, on the UV Index.

Clear skies tonight will allow temperatures to drop down to 3 C, but tomorrow will be even better than today. the forecast calls for a Wednesday high of 21 C, although winds will pick up to about 30 km/h in the morning.

Thursday could be even warmer, with a predicted high of 23 C and a low of 10 C, although some clouds will begin to drift across the sky. Friday, too, will see a mix of sun and cloud, with a drop in temperature down to a high of 12 C and a low of 0 C.

For the weekend, forecasters are calling for a high of 16 C on Saturday, then a high of 22 C on Sunday, with clear, sunny skies both days.

Warm temperatures are expected to continue into the early part of next week.

The normal high for this time of year is 17 C; the normal low is 4 C.
