Boy missing near Roblin
Tyrone Alexander Podollan (RCMP HANDOUT)
A police search team has been called out to try and locate a missing 10-year-old boy near Roblin.
The boy, 10-year-old Tyrone Alexander Podollan, was reported missing by his family this morning.
He had last been seen on family property near Cupar's Creek, close to Lake of the Prairies in Manitoba — about 20 km southwest of Roblin, on Highway 5.
The family, which has a cottage in the area, had tried to locate Tyrone, but were unable to find him.
He is described as having a small build, about 4 feet tall, weighting 80 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and camouflage rubber boots. He was wearing a white t-shirt under the red shirt.
Currently, the Dauphin RCMP police dog is on scene searching along with Roblin officers. The RCMP Search and Rescue Team with the assistance of the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner have been dispatched to the area to assist with the search.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is urged to call the RCMP Roblin Detachment at 204-937-2164 or their local law enforcement agency.

This is absolutely a parent's and a family's WORST nightmare!
I really hope that Tyrone will be found alive.
