Police responding to a disturbance ended up with a man in custody who had been carrying brass knuckles.
Officers were called to the Brentwood Mobile Home Park late Thursday afternoon, where the disturbance had been reported. They ended up arresting one of the drunk men involved, and turned up the brass knuckles in his pocket when they searched him.
The 23-year-old Brandon man also earned a night in jail to sober up. He was to be released Friday morning, with conditions, and a court date of Aug. 21. He'll face a charge of possessing a prohibited weapon, and of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
