A Brandon man faces fraud charges after bouncing a series of three cheques.
Police say their investgation began in mid-March, when Vanguard Credit Union alerted them to the possible frauds.
The trio of cheques had allegedly been written by Brandon man to himself, and were drawn on a different bank where he didn't have the funds to cover the amounts written. The rubber cheques totalled about $500.
A 24-year-old Brandon man was arrested, but has since been released. He's to appear in court to face three counts of fraud, on July 24.
