Police have arrested a man and seized several computers from him after computer techs reported finding evidence of child pornography.

The suspect apparently brought computers in for service to two local electronics businesses in 2012 and 2013. Technicians at those businesses called police when they uncovered suspicious material on the computers, and police say that forensic analysis on the computers found child pornography on them.

After identifying the owner of the computers, they searched his home and seized two more computers, plus storage devices and electronic and physical datat that they say contained evidence of child pornography.

A 51-year-old Brandon man was arrested Thursday, and has been charged with accessing, possessing and distributing child pornograpjy.

He's been released from custody, with conditions, and is to appear in court in May.
