Clinic break-in nets electronics, painkillers

Thieves broke into a city clinic earlier this week, making off with a haul of electronics and some drugs. But the drugs aren't likely to get much attention on the street — police say it was baby Advil.

An unknown quantity of the light painkiller was taken during the break-in, but the bulk of the thieves' haul was electronic in nature. Computer monitors and a TV were taken from the clinic.

Police say that the building was entered through a side window, and it probably happened between 8 p.m. on Aug. 27 and 9 a.m. the next morning, when it was discovered and reported.

The thefts remain under investigation.
