Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Cloudy and mild through the week

There aren't any shamrocks unfurling through the snow, and a pot of golden spring is still at least a week away.

Environment Canada is calling for a mainly cloudy and mild St. Patrick's Day today, with a high of 0ºC through the afternoon.

Cloudy skies tonight will see temperatures as low as -8ºC before tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow should be cool and cloudy, with a high of -2ºC and a good chance of flurries through the morning and afternoon, into the early evening.

Mid-week, Wednesday should see a day of sun, with a high of 1ºC, which should be enough to melt off a bit more snow.

But Thursday and Friday will bring a good chance of more flurries, with cloudy skies both days and a high of 0ºC on Thursday and a high of -6ºC on Friday.

The weekend will be sunny but cool, with a high of -8ºC on Saturday and -6ºC on Sunday.
