It was a chilly wake-up for Brandon this morning, with early temperatures in the single digits, but the spate of cool weather should end this week.
Environment Canada says that the temperature got to as low as 3.1ºC at 7 a.m. this morning. But sunny skies today should quickly burn off the morning's fog; temperatures will get up to 19ºC this afternoon.
Clear skies tonight will send the mercury plunging again, but not as low. Tonight it will get to 5ºC.
Tomorrow will be mainly sunny, with a bit of a breze from the southwest early in the afternoon, and a high of 25ºC.
More sun on Thursday will take the temperature to 24ºC, followed by a slightly cooler end to the wee on Friday, which will see a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 20ºC.
The weekend will start out sunny, on Saturday, with a high of 21ºC, then turn to clouds on Sunday, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 22ºC.
Monday, skies will clear again, and will be sunny with a high of 22ºC.
