Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Cool, rainy morning clears up later

A few sprinkles of rain this morning should be just a memory by later today, with Environment Canada predicted sunny skies this afternoon.

However, temperatures will stay below normal, only hitting a high of about 22 C this afternoon, and will fall down to the single digits overnight.

For tomorrow, things will improve markedly — the forecast calls for clear, sunny skies and a high of 26 C.

The weekend will be hot. Both Saturday and Sunday should see highs around the 30 C mark with a mix of sun and cloud, although there's also a 30 per cent chance of showers both days. Overnight lows wil be around 14 C.

Hot afternoons will continue into early next week, with sunny skies in the forecast for Monday (high 32 C), Tuesday (high 33 C) and Wendesday (high 32 C).

The normal high for this time of year is 25 C, the normal low is 12 C.
