Snow is expected tonight — up to 5 cm — as a warm system moves in, allowing temperatures to rise overnight to about -13 C.
Tomorrow will be cloudy and warmer, with a high of -4 C, and a chance of flurries later in the day.
But cold air returns for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday are both expected to be sunny, with a high of -18 C on Saturday and -22 C on Sunday.
Sunny skies and highs of around -20 C are expected to continue into next week.
