Cooler and breezy

What a difference a day makes.

Just yesterday, Westman was basking in more than 30 C heat, but that's just a memory now.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of just 21 C this afternon, with stiff winds gusting as high as 60 km/h. There's also a 30 per cent chance of showers this morning, although it'll clear this afternon.

Temperatures will drop overnight, to a low of 6 C, with a few clouds and continuing winds tonight.

Tomorrow will be even cooler — expect a high of 17 C, with increasing cloudiness through the afternoon and winds that may be even stronger than today.

Thursday won't be much better. The forecast calls for a high of 20 C — but a low of just 1 C.

Finally, for Friday, it may warm up again. The predicted high that day is 27 C, with sunny skies. Saturday, too, could see sun and a high of 26 C.

It'll cool down again for Sunday and Monday, with highs that days in the upper teens.

The normal high for this time of year is 18 C; the normal low is 6 C.
