A man standing outside a convenience store asking people if they wanted to buy drugs was easy for police to find.
Prairie Mountain RCMP were called to the Russell convenience store on Saturday after someone let them know about the apparent dealer, who was offering hash. When officers pulled up, they were able to arrest a man and a woman. Inside their vehicle, officers turned up marijuana, hash, three knives and a large sum of cash.
Ronald Strader, 48, of Elm Creek, Man., remains in custody. Strader is currently on conditions from the Saskatoon Police Service, and has two other warrants out for his arrest. He has been charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of breach of an undertaking, and with breach of a probation order.
Strader appeared in Brandon court on Monday.
