Police who raided a Brandon home on Saturday turned up a significant amount of cocaine. Yesterday, they arrested the teenager they say was dealing it.

Armed with a search warrant, officers searched the southwest-area home on Saturday and seized about seven ounces of cocaine plus an undisclosed quantity of cash. They estimate the street value of the cocain to be about $19,000.

Then, on Monday, they arrested an 18-year-old Brandon man in connection with the drugs.

He's since been released from custody, but he's got a court date on Aug. 7, where he'll face a charge of possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as well as possession of the proceeds of crime.
