Graffiti discovered downtown Tuesday morning had a positive theme, like this message on the courthouse.

"Love thy neighbor" commands green spraypainted graffiti that was left on the back of Brandon's courthouse earlier this week.

The courthouse was one of at least three buildings downtown that discovered they had been tagged Tuesday morning. The graffiti apparently happened overnight.

Also hit was a sheriff's van outside the courthouse.

At the Meyers Norris Penny Building on Princess Avenue, a message written in the same paint and lettering style asked passers by, "Hugged yer kids lately?"

A business in the 1100-block of Rosser Avenue was also sprayed with green paint.

It was the second grafitti spree in as many nights.

Police had previously reported a trio of taggings that had been discovered Monday morning. Black paint was sprayed on a fence and garage on the 1000-block of Ninth Street, a building on the 900-block of 10th Street and a shed on the 1000-block of Eighth Street.

Police say they continue to investigate.
