Fans can show their pride in Manitoba curling and take a step in making sure our province continues to excel on the pebbled ice.

Manitoba Public Insurance and Curl Manitoba announced on today the release of a new specialty licence plate with a portion of the funds going to the Curling for Life Endowment Fund.

The plate will be available Dec. 9 at cost of $70 with $30 going to the endowment fund.

The fund was established one year ago and aims to sustain and build programs to grow, develop and market the sport of curling in Manitoba.

Curl Manitoba is working to have $1,000,000 in the fund in order to be able to sustain the programs it currently executes.
