Cyclists take to the highway in Riding Mountain this weekend
Highway 10 through Riding Mountain National Park will be filled with cyclists over the weekend, as a fundraising bike tour heads from Dauphin to Wasagaming and back.
The Rona MS Bike Tour features more than 275 cyclists who will make the there-and-back journey this weekend.
Cyclists will depart Dauphin on Saturday morning at about 9 a.m. for the trip to Wasagaming. They'll head back the next day, again leaving at 9 a.m. The tour supports the MS Society.
Park officials also reminded drivers to watch out for ongoing construction in the park, at around the 49-kilometre mark. Portions of the construction zone have reduced speed limits at 80 km/h and 60 km/h.
