Dauphin police on lookout for creep

Dauphin RCMP are on the lookout for a man who has twice suspiciously approached women in and around that city.

Just before 6 p.m. on March 31, a man flagged down a woman on Highway 5, about 10 km west of Dauphin. When he approached her, he said he was in possession of pantyhose and a condom, and then tried to strike up a conversation.

The woman was able to drive away, but another similar incident was reported the next day.

On April 1, a woman was sitting in her vehicle on First Avenue NE in Dauphin when she was approached by a man who said he was selling pantyhose.

In both cases, the man is described as being in his 30s, with light hair. He was wearing a black coat with dark pants and was driving a newer-model white truck.

Anyone with information on either of these two occurrences is asked to contact the Dauphin RCMP at 204-622-5020 or to call Crime Stoppers.
