At least one of a trio of women who ran out on their restaurant bill will be paying for it in court after she left her purse behind.
Police say the three women had racked up a bill of more than $140 for food and alcohol Sunday night, at a restaurant in the 1100-block of 18th Street, before ducking out of the restaurant and fleeing.
Officers were called at about half-past midnight, and were still there when one of the women returned to the scene of the crime: She had forgotten her purse.
A 28-year-old Red Deer, Alta., woman was arrested and held overnight at the Brandon Correctional Centre. She was to appear in court later Monday, where she'll face fraud charges.
