A drunk 18-year-old man mistakenly broke into the wrong home just before midnight on Sunday.

Police say that he thought he was in his own home, and had broken glass out of a garden door to get inside the Aldrin Way home.

Worse, it was actually not his first attempt to find his way home. Police say that the man had just before entered a home in the 2000-block of Ninth Street, but left when confronted by a resident there.

Officers took the man into custody and he was to be released when he sobered up. He'll have a court date of Oct. 20, where he'll face a charge of being unlawfully in a dwelling house and also a charge of mischief to property under $5,000.
