Drunks in the drive-thru?

For the second time in just more than a week, a suspected drunk driver has been arrested in a fast-food drive-thru.

On Tuesday, at about 12:30 a.m. staff working at a fast food restaurant in the 2600-block of Victoria Avenue observed a suspected impaired driver in the drive thru.

Police stopped the vehicle in the parking lot.

The suspect provided samples of his breath, which showed an alcohol content that was more than twice the legal limit.

A 27 year old Brandon man is to appear in court on Jan. 7, 2013, on a charge of impaired driving.

On Dec. 16, man was found passed out behind the wheel as he waited for food in the drive-thru of a local fast food restaurant.

BPS charged a 31-year-old Brandon man with impaired driving.

He has already made his first court appearance.
