Two more days of 'summer,' then back to a return of normal fall temperatures for Brandon, says Environment Canada.

And that smoke in the air is likely from a few grass fires in the region, including a fairly large one in the Riverdale-Souris area on the weekend.

A reminder that in light of the dry conditions recently, the province has suspended all burning permits in the western, central and eastern regions.

Today's forecast calls for sun, northwest winds at 20 km/h. High 21 C. UV index 4 or moderate.

Tonight it will be clear, with northwest winds at 20 km/h becoming south 20 km/h late this evening. Low 6 C.

Tuesday will see a mix of sun and cloud. Wind south 30 km/h gusting to 50 km/h becoming northwest 20 km/h late in the afternoon. High 22 C.

Wednesday it will be cloudy. Low plus 4 C. High 9 C.

And some forecasts have suggested it could even snow a bit by the weekend.
