Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

Final day of Feburary will be a fine one

Believe it or not, but today's quite nice day is actually a smidge below normal.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of -6 C this afternoon, with a mix of sun and cloud, and a low tonight of -17 C under partly cloudy skies.

That's won't be enough to hit the normal high for this time of year, which is -5 C, and will be a tad cooler than the normal low, which is -15 C.

Tomorrow will be similar, with mixed skies and a high of -7 C to kick of March.

Cloudy skies are in the forecast for the weekend, with slightly warmer temperatures. Saturday should be -3 C and Sunday a degree cooler, with a chance of flurries on Sunday.

Snow is nearly certain by Monday, but it'll be pretty mushy, with a high of -4 C that day.

Further into next week, a little bit of sun is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs of -7 C both days.
