Four people were hurt — two fairly seriously — in a rollover Sunday near Gilbert Plains.
Mounties came across the scene of the rollover at around 10 p.m. that evening, although it's not clear clear exactly when the crash happened. A Ford Tempo had been headed west on Highway 5, about 5 kilometres west of Gilbert Plains, when it apparently lost contol and rolled into the north ditch, where it landed upright.
The quartet of passengers were all taken to hospial. Two were later transferred to Winnipeg hospitals; police say no one's injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
Investigators have fingered alcohol and lack of seatbelt use as contributing factors. However, they continue to investigate.
