Golf clubs used to smash two vehicles

Police are looking for the culprits responsible for badly damaging two parked vehicles in the RM of South Cypress earlier this month.

The two vehicles were parked near Wawanesa at the junction of Highway 2 and Highway 18 and were heavily vandalized sometime overnight between May 12–13.

Police say golf clubs that were in one of the vehicles were used to break all the windows on both vehicles, as well as the headlights, taillights and mirrors. Damage was also done to the vehicle bodies — in total, more than $9,000 in damage was done.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Carberry RCMP at (204) 834-2905 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
