An expanded Harvest Sun music festival will offer more artists at this year's festival, the seventh annual.

Folk music legend Bill Bourne will headline the festival, along with the duelling electric guitars of award-winning Canadian artists Romi Mayes and Jay Nowicki (of the Perpetrators) as well as up-and-coming country/roots artist Ridley Bent. Legendary children’s entertainer Fred Penner is set to return as well this year.

The festival is scheduled for Aug. 17–19 in Kelwood, just west of Riding Mountain National Park. It's expanded to include Friday evening, making it a three-evening festival for the first time. Programming continues through the day on Saturday and Sunday, as well as all three evening.

Tickets are available online at theharvestsun.com and will be available at Poor Michaels Bookshop in Onanole.
