High winds from a storm system that rolled through Manitoba yesterday were enough to land some grain bins near Glenboro on their sides.
In a tweet posted by Jeffries Seeds, located in Glenboro, they showed pictures of the toppled bins.
Automated weather stations run by the province's Ag-Weather program reported winds of up to 84 km/h in Glenboro — the highest in the province yesterday. Glenboro also got a reported 13.8 mm of rain.
Elsewhere in Westman, storms were spotty. Russell got the most rain, with 24.6 mm, Wawanesa got 12 mm and Ste. Rose got 7.6 mm.
There was also at least one small funnel cloud reported, near Roblin, yesterday afternoon.
