Hockey House a new home for Wheaties' fans

So what are you doing before the next Wheat Kings hockey game?

Starting this Friday from 5:30 to the end of game — and for every home game after that — the Keystone Centre is setting up a new attraction for fans.

Full details were released Tuesday about the Coors Light Hockey House, located in the 880 CKLQ Hall beside the box office off the main concourse, will offer:

• Pre-game drink specials.

• A buffet meal and snacks.

• Wheat King game highlights.

• Coors Light Girls, prizes and special guests.

Keystone Centre general manager Neil Thompson told Brandon Sun Attention Shoppers columnist Kyla Henderson last week that the Hockey House will also be decorated with hockey memorabilia to make it feel like a sportsman’s lounge.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Admittance will be subject to capacity.

Patrons wishing to remain in the lounge at the start of the game must present their game day ticket to the server.
