Impaired driver coasts into check stop on flat
A Brandon man has been charged with impaired driving after he entered a check stop while driving on a flat tire.
At about 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, police stopped a vehicle at a check stop located in the 2000-Block of Brandon Avenue. The driver, unaware that he was driving on a flat tire, showed signs of impairment and was transported to the Brandon Police Service detachment for breath testing. The readings of that test came back over the legal limit.
A 29-year-old man will appear in Brandon Court next week on charges of Impaired Driving and Drive over 0.08.
