Three boys were caught with their pockets full of stolen property after someone spotted them going through vehicles early Wednesday morning.
The tip came in at around 3 a.m., from the Governors Gate area, and officers were able to quickly find the trio of alleged thieves.
A search turned up that there were in possession of numerous stolen articles from vehicles in that area; the three youth had also apparently entered vehicles on Canada Crescent.
All the stolen property was photographed, inventoried, and placed into storage; police say they are waiting in case more people report stolen property.
Two Brandon boys were charged with theft under $5,000 and were released to appear in court later on, while the third boy, from Saskatchewan, was jailed overnight to appear in court Wednesday, charged with theft under $5,000 and three counts of breach of undertaking.
