Police say they tracked down and arrested a man from Fairfax after he reportedly assaulted and threatened a banking employee Thursday afternoon.
The man, a customer, was at the financial institution in the 800-block of 18th Street on Thursday afternoon, and had apparently caused a disturbance before driving off.
Officers spotted the vehicle nearby and detained the man while they investigated. They later found that he had allegedly assaulted and made threats to an employee of the institution.
A 34-year-old man was later released from custody, on a number of conditions, and is to appear in court on June 30.
