A man previously charged after being found with a stolen jacket and car charging cable has been re-arrested after police say they've determined that a portable media player in his possession was stolen as well.

The man was first arrested on Nov. 25, as police were investigating two vehicle break-ins in the 900-block of 10th Street.

They were able to lay charges against him them, based on the jacket and the cable that he had on him, which had been stolen from the two vehicles earlier that night.

However, he was also found with a portable media player that police say they thought was also stolen.

They have since confirmed that it was indeed stolen, and the suspect was arrested again yesterday.

A 21 year old Brandon man is to appear in court on Dec. 12, on a charge of possession of stolen property.
