Man killed by collapsing wall
RAPID CITY -- Police continue to investigate a fatal workplace accident in which a man was crushed by a large chunk of concrete.
Friends and acquaintances have identified the deceased as 33-year-old Leon Houle of Rapid City, a married father of three young children.
Spruce Plains RCMP were called to an acreage in the RM of Saskatchewan, at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
RCMP said Houle and another worker were repairing a cistern in the basement of a home when a cement wall gave way, trapping Houle.
Minnedosa firefighters inflated an airbag to move the concrete but Houle was pronounced dead at the scene.

I know of a very young Brandon teenage youth whose femur was fractured after a wall collapsed in which he was working as well.
Fortunately, this young man is still alive but he has had to have an operation, metal plates in his femur as he currently struggles on crutches with a limp.
This young man is a VERY GOOD First Nations hockey player.
He is VERY FORTUNATE to be alive, himself.
I just learned about his accident a few days ago.
