Man mugged at knifepoint in Dauphin

Officers from the Dauphin municipal RCMP are investigating a reported armed robbery from Tuesday night.

The robbery was reported around 10:30 p.m., after a man who was walking down a back lane off of Seventh Avenue NE was approached by another man who demanded money.

The victim, noting that the other man was armed with what appeared to be a knife, complied, and was apparently unharmed after the mugging.

The suspect is described as being about five-foot-nine with a slim build, and dressed in black clothing.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call the Dauphin RCMP or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
