Two men went to jail for the rest of the night after separate disturbances Tuesday night.

Police say they were called to a home in the 1300-block of Rosser Avenue just before midnight, where a 43-year-old man was causing a disturbance. He was held at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent a continuation of a breach of the peace.

Police also say they arrested a 30-year-old man who was at a licensed premise in the 1300-block of 18th Street and became highly agitated when management there began monitoring him to make sure that he didn't drive.

After he refused to take a cab that had been called for him, and also refused a ride, police became concerned about his behaviour and arrested him to prevent any other problems. He was to be released when he sobered up.
