Cloudy skies will keep a blanket on temperatures today, and a few more centimetres of snow is expected later.

Environment Canada says that this afternoon’s high should be about -14 C, with a 30 per cent chance of flurries this morning.

Light snow should fall this evening and overnight, with a low of about -16 C. Periods of snow will continue Wednesday, with between 2–4 cm are expected tonight and tomorrow.

Wednesday should see a bit of wind, at about 30 km/h from the northeast, although it will drop off in the evening. The day’s high will be about -10 C, but the wind chill could drop that to about -25.

Thursday will be sunny, with a high of -15 C and a low of -21 C.

The Friday forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of -4 C.

Things should stay fairly mild through the weekend. At this point, both Saturday and Sunday are expected to see a high of -8 C.

The normal high for this time of year is -9 C. The normal low is -20 C.
