The Monster Mash committee would like to thank the fantastic volunteers from Citizens on Patrol Program (COPP), Manitoba Department of Justice, and students from the ACC Police Studies class who helped to make this year a success.

There were approximately 710 students at the event, held at the Keystone Centre, the committee said in a release Thursday.

"The Monster Mash couldn’t have happened without generosity from local businesses, community groups and individuals in the City of Brandon who either donated prizes, money, or accommodations," said a spokesperson.

It’s an annual event designed to give young adults something positive to do on Halloween night.
