Police were called five times to the Countryfest site on Sunday, responding to a series of events that included two assault, a disturbance and mischief. At least 8 people were arrested and lodged for being intoxicated.

Dauphin RCMP also said they ticketed at least 16 people for speeding, while eight people were cited for other traffic offences and two were charged for having open liquor. One person had their driving privileges suspended for 24 hours.
