More flurries in the forecast

It looks like winter is here to linger for a little while longer.

Environment Canada is calling for mainly cloudy skies today, with flurries beginning this morning, and a high of -4 C.

Light snow will continue overnight, with northwest winds at about 20 km/h, as temperatures fall to around -10 C.

Flurries are expected to continue tomorrow, and temperatures will stay below-normal for this time of year, reaching a high of just -8 C. Skies should clear by the evening, but the mercury tomorrow night will fall to around -20 C.

The next two days should be sunny, with a high of -4 C on Wednesday and 0 C on Thursday.

To end the week, the forecast calls for snow again on Friday, with a high of -10 C.

At this point, the weekend is predicted to have a mix of sun and cloud, with highs around -4 C.

The normal high for this time of year is -2 C. The normal low is -12 C.
