Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

More snow and very mild

Not too much sun today, but it'll be plenty warm nonetheless.

Environment Canada is calling for a high if -1 C under cloudy skies, with periods of light snow starting this morning that'll pick up overnight.

Between 2–4 cm of snow could fall by tomorrow, with a little bit of wind to swirl it around, as temperatures fall to a low of -16 C.

Tomorrow will dawn cloudy but clear up substantially through the day, with a moderate wind of about 20 km/h from the northwest by noon. It'll be cooler, though, with an expected high of -11 C.

Friday will be sunny, with a high of -9 C, before things warm up substantially for the long weekend.

Expect clouds and a chance of flurries for Saturday, with a high of 2 C — that's PLUS 2 C — then a high of 0 C for Sunday with a chance of rain. Yes, rain.

Holiday Monday will cool off again, with a high of -12 C, though the clouds should break up a bit. Tuesday should be about the same.

The normal high for this time of year is -8 C. The normal low is -18 C.
