Brandon Sun - ONLINE EDITION

More snow possible, but gorgeous temps

Clouds and a 40 per cent chance of flurries are possible this morning, but mild temperatures as we head into the weekend will make for some lovely winter weather.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of -9 C today, under overcast skies, with a bit of wind and a low of -13 C tonight.

Tomorrow will stay mostly cloudy, with winds lightening up in the afternoon and a beautiful midafternoon high of about -4 C.

Great weather is in store for the weekend, too, with sunny skies and a high of -5 C predicted for Saturday, then a high of -6 C and periods of snow on Sunday. Overnight lows should be around -13 C.

For early next week, the mild trend will continue. Monday could be slightly cooler, but sunny, with a high of -9 C, then a mix of sun and cloud on Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs those days around -5 C.

The normal high for this time of year is -9 C. The normal low is -19 C.
