Despite a two-kilometre lineup to get into Countryfest on Wednesday afternoon, some drivers still felt a need for speed.
Dauphin RCMP say they issued more than 90 speeding tickets along highways in that area. They also ticketed four people for failing to wear a seatbelt, one for driving without a license, another one for driving while suspended, and six for other traffic offenses.
There were no calls for police to the actual Countryfest site, however.
Police say they will be conducting check stops in the Dauphin area throughout the weekend.
