Most days, it's warmer by midafternoon, but not today. Environment Canada is predicting for the temperature to drop steadily throughout the day, heading to -18 C this afternoon and then -19 C overnight.
There's a 40 per cent chance of flurries this morning under cloudy skies, although that should clear up late this evening. Some winds, around 15 km/h will take the wind chill tonight to about -30.
Thursday will dawn sunny, but cloudiness is expected late in the afternoon, with a temperature of about -16 C.
Friday will see more clouds, with a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high of -13 C.
Clouds and a good chance of flurries are expected all weekend, too, with a highs of about -20 C both days and a little cooler overnight.
Sun shoudl return early next week, although temperatures will stay cool.
The normal high for this time of year is -12 C; the normal low is -22 C.
