The three were arrested on May 15 and 16 by RCMP officers from the Spruce Plains area, which includes Neepawa, Minnedosa and Gladstone. Mounties had been gathering intelligence under Project Decibel, begun in December 2011, and had been focusing on street-level trafficking in the area. The investigation was coordinated by Brandon RCMP's Major Crime Unit.

During this investigation, RCMP members seized both powder cocaine and oxycontin.

Brad Hagyard, 48, faces three counts of trafficking cocaine. Bradley Minkus, 27, faces one count of trafficking cocaine and one count of trafficking oxycontin. Melissa Lund, 28, also faces one count of trafficking cocaine and one count of trafficking oxycontin.

All three appeared in Brandon court on May 17, at which time they were released on bail under what police said were strict conditions.

Information about the arrest was made public on May 22.

RCMP say they are continuing to investigate.
