New president for BU students

The election for top spots in the Brandon University Students' Union was either tightly contested or acclaimed.

In the end, challenger Stephanie Bachewhich toppled incumbent Carissa Taylor in a close race for president, while Jenna Clinton took the VP External position in an even closer race over candidate Julia Stoneman-Sinclair.

Most of the other races were acclaimed, with candidates facing only a yes/no vote. Only one candidate got fewer than 75 per cent "yes".

Perliminary results are as follows:
