Downtown bar and restaurant Clancy’s has closed temporarily.

The restaurant, located on Princess Avenue, is currently closed while its owner, Corey Roberts, takes a brief holiday. Rumours had been spreading that the establishment could be closing its doors for good, which Roberts responded to when reached by the Sun.

Roberts said the closure allows him to take care of a few things that he wouldn’t be able to do while open. He hoped to be able to announce future plans for the business by the end of the week.
